The goal of Wives of Jannah is to strengthen Muslim women and their marriages through Islamic based relationship coaching, programs, written work, and resources like this podcast. What guides me in my work are three words: mouda, rahmah, and sakinah- the three words used in the Qur'an to describe marriage in chapter 30: ayah 21 - those translate to love, mercy, and tranquility. Marriage is something you learn while in it which means none of us arrive in our relationships knowing exactly what to do. I hope this podcast can offer you some insight from my relationship coaching experience starting back in 2009. - Megan Wyatt

From the sister who asked the question after hearing my response: "I finally had the chance to listen to your response and all I have to say is thank you. On a personal note, I teared up listening because I was finally able to hear words of encouragement and have an advocate by my side. I am honestly honored to have made it onto your podcast and, above all, I hope this can help fellow sisters out there that unfortunately experience issues regarding the topics that were covered. With the lack of spiritual advice and one-sided content on the internet, being able to turn to you and recieve a response was such a great relief. I have muslim sisters around me daily but it was particularly hard to reach out to them and discuss a topic like this. Most of them know my husband and I wouldn't want his image to tarnish in that way. Thank you for being the voice of reason I didn't have." *** Do you have a relationship question? Heartbreak. Devastation. Worry. Grief. Anger. The last month & a half has been a major emotional roller coaster as we've watched the ongoing genocide unfold in Gaza. This podcast's focus is how to protect your marriage from being shaken by unprocessed emotions, judgments towards how your spouse may process what's happening, and how to keep yourself spiritually and emotionally grounded. Whenever there is high emotional stress there is a potential for it to spill over into marriage. I hope this episode offers some ideas to support you both in marriage and in your spiritual and emotional well being as we continue to witness the such horrific crimes against humanity. It also sheds light on the dark side of people pleasing and why it's so important to break free from that role in marriage or any other relationship. Learn more: www.wivesofjannah.com…
