An elderly and hard-of-hearing couple is visited by the Grim Reaper, complete with the usual accouterments of hood, scythe, and imminent death.
Dean Bevan - PLAYWIGHT
Dean Bevan has written 24 plays in the past 15 years, which have been performed in New York, London, and in 20 cities across the US from Florida to California, Alaska to Virginia, including his own Lawrence, Kansas. His plays have won numerous awards. During the same period, Bevan has also been active on stage, appearing in 36 plays and musicals in roles including Norman Thayer in On Golden Pond, Vladimir in Waiting for Godot, and FDR in Annie. He has also directed ten plays. He earned the Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, and served as Professor of English and Director of Creative Writing at Baker University.
James Jerome - DEAF OLD MAN
An actor, stage manager, and writer, James got his start in Pittsburgh; then continued in New York working as an actor on stage, television and film. He studied at the HB Studio with Uta Hagen. Currently he is wrighting his first full-length play.
Beth Griffith - DEAF OLD WOMAN
Beth Griffith: Performing at Theater for the New City November 4-21, at the Crossway Theater Gala on November 14th and with Dance Japan at the Tenri Cultural Institute on December 12th. Delighted to be back on AirPlay!
Jak Prince – GRIM REAPER
Jak began his acting career at age 6 as a lion in the first grade play Since then he has been in over 150 plays as a lead or featured actor in works ranging from Shakespeare, Shaw, Williams and Vidal. In recent years he has been an award winning scenic and lighting designer
Byron C. Saunders – NARRATOR
Arts Management Consultant / Actor / Director / Producer / Dramaturge / Historian / Radio Talk-Show Personality / Civil Rights Activist
Byron’s highlight’s and many credits currently include working as an independent Arts Management Consultant helping artists and arts organizations with grants administration, fund development, marketing, public relations, event planning, and capacity growth and development.
