Short and sweet or very detailed - with the new podcast Biennale to go for the Biennale für aktuelle Fotografie 2022, visitors decide how deeply they want to engage with each of the six Biennale exhibitions. The length of the individual episodes depends on how you move from one exhibition to the other: on foot, by bike, by public transport or by car. On your way through the public space of three cities, Alexander Hagmann accompanies you in conversation with selected artists and the curator Iris Sikking - city noise and traffic sound included. The podcast addresses the topic of the Biennale, which, under the title From Where I Stand, explores the question of whether our networked society, shaped by technological developments, can be transformed into a fairer and more sustainable world. Biennale to go intends to challenge the audience to consider their mobility behaviour: Do I take the time to get around in a more climate-friendly way and learn more about the Biennale 2022? Or do I accept a loss of information and a larger carbon footprint to get to the next exhibition as quickly as possible by car? What factors influence my decision?
