Y'all! It's been a YEAR, but we made it, didn't we? Season 2 kicks off with the amazing, resilient Sanniel! You'll want to listen closely as he shares his experiences of assimilating into American culture when his family left the D.R. and how this impacted his relationship with himself, his mental health, his queer, Afro-Latinx identity, and his determination to find healing amidst a lack of shared identities with his therapists. Sanniel talks about the importance of holding folx accountable and being proactive in therapy so that we can experience the love and care that we ALL deserve. Sanniel's Plugs: (Non-affiliated but loves the cause) For the Gworls - "We raise 💵 to assist w/ BLACK TRANSGENDER folks’ rent & gender affirmative surgeries."
