Neima Bluth (of Modest Necessities): Modesty Isn't About Hiding Your Body, It's About Revealing Your Dignity. (Part 1)
Manage episode 373873581 series 2773841
Neima and I had such a great conversation. To me, her story is about belief in yourself, perseverance, and the "Everything is figureoutable" mentality. She followed her passion to create the life she wanted and here she is today. I also find this parallel between seeing the beaty in modesty with the same concepts of Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size, and the body positive movement.
Their are so many layers and nuances to these topics. The goal is to really check in with yourself and see what fits you best, physically, spiritually and emotionally. The more you try on clothing and ideas that are aligned with your value system, the better you feel about yourself. When you feel true to yourself, and you take the focus off of just your externals, you just feel better about yourself and start to exude confidence.
Neima Bluth is a dynamic momtrepeneur who found her passion at the intersection of fashion and wellness. As the founder of a modest clothing business, Modest Necessities, she constantly conveys deep messages and meaning within her marketing to make "getting dressed," so much more than a superficial activity. Balancing the demands of motherhood and entrepreneurship, Neima’s journey began with a desire to empower women who sought stylish yet modest apparel without breaking the bank. Her goal was for women and girls to look and feel their best both inside and out. Armed with creativity and determination, she transformed her small startup into an international brand, advocating for self-expression without compromising on cultural and religious values. Beyond her modest fashion endeavors, Neima shares her love for wholesome living and meaningful eating on her food blog @smartkosherfoodie Watch her humorous and relatable reels @modestnecessitiesdotcomShop on her website: modestnecessities.com
