Wir haben dafür Nicky Siano, einen legendären New Yorker DJ, besucht, Giorgio Moroder und Harold Faltermayer getroffen, die für den Munich Disco-Sound verantwortlich waren und wir sprechen mit Nile Rodgers, der mit Chic ein paar Disco-Welthits schrieb. Im Lauf seiner langjährigen Geschichte hat der Zündfunk, das Szenemagazin des Bayerischen Rundfunks, unzählige Musiker getroffen und interviewt. Im Archiv des BR lagerten weitere Juwelen. Michael Bartle ist für Serie "The History Of Rock'n'Roll" ganz tief in das Interview-Archiv gestiegen und hat exklusive Schätze gefunden. Anhand der Interviews mit den großen und kleinen Helden der Popgeschichte erzählen wir eine "Oral History of Rock'n'Roll" - manchmal im englischen Original, manchmal mit deutscher Synchronstimme.
