This week I am very excited to chat with the creators of the website "The Town Bicycle" to promote and highlight women in cycling, Alexandera Houchin, Katie Strempke and Eszter Horanyi!! All three are incredible athletes, storytellers, and awesome humans that started the website as a way to highlight stories that weren't being told in their sport. The Town Bicycle is an excellent adventure site that is focused on "producing journalism, creative writing, and photography driven by women in the bike community" with the ultimate goal to "share the stories of people and their bikes." Eszter and Alexandera are two of my favorite podcast guests of all time and I was beyond honored to meet Katie. This episode was super fun to hear their perspectives on bikepacking, adventure and storytelling. Alexandera was fresh off of completing the 800 mile Arizona Trail Race in which Eszter was documenting and Katie was supporting. We also talk about Katie's "yo-yo" of the Colorado Trail and her epic sufferfest on the Tour Divide. We also just geek out about biking as they inspire me to give bikepacking a shot!! Truly hope you enjoy this episode and please support their new project at www.thetownbicycle.com (I promise you it will take you to a website about bikes!!!)
