The Miami Hurricanes have made the cut as a top five finalist for 5-star running back Jerrick Gibson out of IMG Academy. Gibson has narrowed it down to Miami, Texas, Georgia, Florida and Oklahoma. Texas are considered favorites at the moment, so how much ground can the Canes make up when they host Gibson for an official visit on the weekend of June 9th? The Hurricanes already have 3-star Chris Wheatley-Humphrey committed and are in the mix for 3-star Kewan Lacy.

Host Alex Donno explains why Gibson is the most complete running back in the class and how Miami could benefit from landing him. In the meantime, the Hurricanes have a surprising amount of running back depth on paper for the next few seasons. Donno breaks down Miami’s transfer portal to this point.
