The Miami Hurricanes are wrapping up an important weekend of official visits in the transfer portal and unofficials for 2024 recruiting. Host Alex Donno recaps what we know about visits from WR Shemar Kirk, DT Tywone Malone, RB Ajay Allen, DT Keivie Rose and CB Jadais Richard. Most of these visits went very well and Donno explains why Miami can expect a decision soon about Kirk. Kirk has locked in a May 13th announcement date and Donno likes Miami’s chances.
Will Tywone Malone choose Miami over Ohio State and Oregon? The 6-3, 315 pounder seems to understand Miami’s need for defensive tackles and his opportunity to compete for a starting job. Miami also hosted a pair of talented class of 2024 wide receivers. 5-star Ryan Wingo enjoyed his time on campus and seemed to really connect with WR Coach Kevin Beard. 4-star Tank Hawkins is ready to lock in an official visit for next month. Donno shares a report from Stephen Wagner of Cane Sport that 5-star Ohio State commit Jeremiah Smith will likely officially visit Miami this summer.
