Making Observations, then bringing questions based on the observations can help us to look deeper at the Word of God.
John 3:1-8
As a good Bible Student looks at the questions, how does one start to understand what all these words mean, Born Again, Kingdom of God. We can find these explained within the scriptures throughout the new testament.
Noting the observations and getting the questions answered, is similar to a detective or a scientist, and is a great study technique for the christian.
By getting our observations and questions answered or starting to look at these questions we find we can develop an interest in the outcome or the final answer.
Not only does learning the Word of God bring excitement when we dive into our observations, but we want to use our brains and critical thinking when we build our faith on His promises. Our faith should be rooted in knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. We shouldn’t just believe something without seeing where God says it, and how he says it.
Job 28:20 Wisdom comes through Fear of the Lord. To shun evil is understanding.
Proverbs 3 tells us wisdom and understanding and knowledge should go together.
Reading the word shows us how consistent the books of the Bible really are.
We see a parallel between John 3 and John 5, but vs. 5 gives more information.
