Happy belated full moon, lovely ones!
I’m posting this amazing Sri Session from Costa Rica, albeit a little late. I have an excellent reason however, as I spent the past week in Puriscal participating in a moon dance. Ceremony blurs the lines of time and space.
This session’s conversation is exciting: Jenna Bee is one of the first people I met in Boulder…on a first date to one of her brewhouse yoga classes. The guy didn’t last, but my connection with this fab lady did!
There IS room for beer in your yoga practice. Moderation, allowing your practice to change, the best spiritual practice is the one that you DO, the Grinch of Yoga, Adventures of the Yogi-Server, and so much more.
So make some tea or pour some bourbon, kick back and enjoy.

About Jenna, in her own words:
When I was in college, I got this crazy idea that I wanted to run a marathon. Though it started out as an effort to lose weight, prove something to my dad, and distract me from a breakup, time alone and in my body got me out of my head. I guess I started meditating by accident, and eventually found myself on a yoga mat in 2009.
I had been a very serious young adult and yoga helped me to find my playful side again. It had been a long time since I had tried to stand on my head, or do anything else that I wasn’t good at. I found it liberating to turn upside down, and even fall on my face every once in a while. I see yoga as a powerful metaphor and tool for living a remarkable life that is FUN, adventurous, and meaningful. In early 2011, I completed the 200-hour Power Yoga Teacher Training at CorePower Yoga in Boulder, CO and enrolled in their Extensions program soon after. I am incredibly grateful to have worked with amazing teachers including Matt Kapinus, Derise Diatta, Jason Bowman, Diane Friedman, Valerie D’Ambrosio and so many others.
As my practice evolves, I become increasingly passionate about building community among yogis, and bringing yoga to people who may not have discovered their practice yet. I hope to make yoga accessible, relatable, and REAL for all kinds of students. I love to explore yoga as a source of connection for people as we move through each of our individual life experiences, and I also cherish the opportunity to work with students one-on-one, empowering them in their unique and individual practice. I teach weekly classes in Boulder and Breckenridge, Colorado. Contact me here.
