Esta capacidad no corresponde a ningún trastorno o diagnóstico de salud mental, sino que hace referencia a un rasgo de personalidad temperamental; es decir, un rasgo innato que se hereda y que conforma parte de nuestra estructura de personalidad. Aproximadamente está presente en un 20% de la población mundial.
