I want to delve into how YOUR government is funded through the appropriations process. We all pay taxes and I am sure y’all are interested in learning how your tax payer dollars are being spent by Congress. The House Appropriations Committee has completed its work on the Fiscal Year 2023 Appropriations. The House of Representatives passed six of the twelve appropriation bills – (T-HUD, AG, Energy-Water, FSGG, Interior, MCVA) H.R. 8294 the Fiscal Year 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act on July 20, 2022 by a vote of 220-207.
