In this episode, I spoke to Documentary filmmaker, photographer, travel writer & blogger, Bella Falk.
Bella and I discussed how to break into the media and make it a success through hard work. She talked to me about working in the BBC early on in her career and then taking that experience into what she does now. Bella now works on a freelance basis.
Bella spoke to me about her photography and writing and how she has made that a success, featuring in National Geographic, JRNY, The Great Outdoors, Guardian, Times, Telegraph and the BBC. She gave us an insight into how she went about it and why her blog, Passport and Pixels, started.
We also talked about how to pitch for a story, whether it's good to pitch before or after a trip.
We also spoke about some of her meaningful travel experiences.
All in all, it's a fascinating discussion worth a listen to.
