Sirens
Manage episode 302245477 series 2883554
G'day Hugh Grant fans! Take a trip to New South Wales with Oscar and Diggory as they enchant you with their review of Sirens (John Duigan, 1994). Hugh Grant plays a young Reverend Anthony who, along with his wife, Estella (played by Tara Fitzgerlad), travel from England to Australia to minister to their flock. A local asks Anthony to visit Norman (played by Sam Neill), an eccentric artist whose latest work has been deemed blasphemous. Anthony must convince Norman, who also happens to live with his wife and three beautiful models, to remove the controversial painting named ‘Crucified Venus’ from his show.
