This episode we have the founders of SMASH Beer, Frank Ma and Aki Sakamoto. Frank, recently promoted to black belt in jiu jitsu, and Aki, a jiu jitsu brown belt, met on the mat and decided to start a beer company.
Frank and Aki who, along with their other training partners, drink entirely way too much after each training session. So they decided it is a good idea to bring that to the other active communities. They described themselves as someone who loves smashing and getting smashed on the mat, then smashing some beers afterwards and having a grand old time.
