He discusses the continued unrest in Pakistan and the deadly clashes in the capital Islamabad between security forces and supporters of jailed former prime minister Imran Khan. Kugelman also highlights recent sectarian violence and increased terrorism from militant groups, the nation’s economic outlook, and what the return of President Trump will mean for US-Pakistan relations.
