The Remote Edition IG @theremoteedition Suzie IG @suzieclark_ This week we are joined by the lovely Natalie Thomas! Nat is a blogger, retreat planner and full-time traveler! She started her career in the world of film & media and over time realised the office environment wasn't her vibe. She decided to travel to South America for a while with no agenda and ended up landing a job at Start-Up Chile. She never looked back and has been working remotely and travelling the world since. We chat all about her travels around the world including Bali, Chile and Colombia. She tells us all about how she bought a domain without any big business idea and developed it into a successful blog fuelling her creative passion. Her story is super inspiring and I love how she trusted her gut throughout and opportunities rewarded her for it! Nat's website https://www.thenowwithnat.com/ Nat's IG @thenowwithnat About this podcast... Welcome to The Remote Edition Podcast where we bring you the latest from the world of remote work. We share stories from people working remotely from all over the world. Whether they are entrepreneurs, digital nomads, freelancers, people who have remote jobs or coworking spaces we are sharing their stories. Whether you’re already working remotely, thinking about it or even managing a distributed team, this podcast is for YOU. About me (your host)... Despite these being quite impressive jobs to a lot of people, I always felt like something was missing. The routine started to really get me down so I did a lot of soul searching until I decided to quit my job, start a podcast and move to Bali to explore the world of remote work. What I discovered amazed me, there are entire communities of super smart and talented people working and living remotely, from all over the world, all doing different things and actually EXCITED about their work. I learned that many of them had left huge corporate jobs because they were restricted to staying in one place and had experienced similar things to me. From then on I became obsessed with this way of working, it opens up so many opportunities for you to travel, spend more time with loved ones or just do more things you love all whilst being more productive and generally happier. It also levels the playing field for global talent which is something I think can really change the economic landscape, solve issues in overpopulated cities and ultimately contribute to reducing global inequality. I want to help more people take advantage of this amazing way of working. Through my guest's stories, you will learn all about how they came to work remotely and the tips you can take into your own career and business.
