After many years as a WKU WBB assistant coach, the head WBB coach at Austin Peay, and the head coach at Clarksville Academy, Coach Carrie Daniels is now the head girl's basketball coach at Scottsburg High School - her alma mater.
Coach Daniels talks about many fond memories as player, moving to Las Vegas to become an assistant coach, working Michael Jordan's Flight School, and returning closer to home to become an assistant coach at WKU. After discussing her time in Bowling Green, we talk about her time as head coach at Austin Peay - which included not having her contract renewed after 9 seasons as head coach and 2 NCAA appearances.
Carrie then highlights her struggles to becoming a mother while still balancing her time as an assistant coach & recruiting coordinator at WKU under former head coach Mary Cowles.
