Manage episode 310567144 series 3061734
I have come to realize that the burden we put on mothers is too much. We ask them to tend the house, the children, themselves, and their spouses. And we expect them to do it with a smile.
In this episode, I talk about why we are wrong as a society to put all of this burden on mothers when the history of our species shows that it was never done before.
It takes a village to raise a child is not just a popular quote. It's an African proverb and how children were raised for thousands of years.
