Manage episode 402168205 series 3420028
There are people interested in exploring the Bible who don’t share your beliefs - whether faith background, political views, or lifestyle. We call these people our neighbors. And believe that we should meet our neighbors where they are at and explore the Bible together. Yet entering into faith conversations and Bible study with people who don’t share your beliefs should be handled with care.
For 10 remarkable years, God has graciously opened the Chara Project team’s hearts and homes to many new friends from a variety of backgrounds. They’ve experienced the pitfalls and learned what it takes to create a loving, encouraging, and safe environment to explore the Bible with people from a variety of faith backgrounds.
Join the Chara Project team in this part 1 of a 2-part series as they offer 10 tips found in the Neighbor Guide, that include what they’ve learned along the way when entering into a relationship with anyone who believes differently than you, especially around the Bible.
This podcast is also released as a video podcast on YouTube here.
