Welcome back to the Horror Agenda and this week we have part one of our first two-parter. We cover Fear Street Part One this week and next week we will cover Part 2 and 3. Based on the books by RL Stine, and Story by Kyle Killen and Phil Graziadei & Leigh Janiak, with screenplay by Phil Graziadei & Leigh Janiak and directed by Leigh Janiak.

This is a long one but worth it for all the journeys we take.
We speak to a few articles on this week and in next week's episode.
Pride Source article by Chris Azzopardi here.
IndieWire article by Kate Erbland here.
This CBR piece on how Fear Street does not bury it's gays by Caitlin Chappell here.
Them article by Samantha Allen here.
Queerty piece by David Reddish here.
Variety piece by Michael Nordine here.
A Kristy Puchko interview on RogerEbert.com.
A TVTropes page on the Bury Your Gays trope gives an easy to digest intro to the trope.
Carlos did not watch the 100 but is familiar with Lexa being killed off, how it fits the trope and how fans reacted. Earlier this year, Paste published a piece by Anna Govert here. Her death was part of a wave of queer death on television.
In lighter news, this week Victor recommends sitcom How I Met Your Mother (2005-2014).
Carlos recommends I Saw the TV Glow (2024). It is still in some theaters and available on demand. Carlos very strongly recommends this and hopes to cover it on the show in the future.
