It was Keiko’s dream as a child to create a world without hunger so that no child goes to bed hungry. After serving in the United Nations World Food Program for more than 25 years, Keiko is embarking on a new adventure with the publication of this book which allows her to heal the world, not by millions while working for WFP, but one little wave at a time. Keiko is from Japan and studied for advanced degrees while in Mexico and the United Kingdom. She has worked in Japan, Italy, Indonesia, Afghanistan and Kyrgyz Republic. She and her husband, Hiro Izushi, have one beloved son, Keiichi.

Following the release of Against All Odds, Keiko joined us on the podcast to discuss her take on how persistence in business makes a tangible impact as well as her chapter in the book. Keiko's chapter entitled "The Cry of the Voiceless: Finding Light in the Darkest Corners of the World" shares her personal and professional experiences that led her to achieving success by showcasing persistence and determination each step of the way.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy another enlightening conversation from one of the brightest minds in business.
