Tyrone Larkins Episode Pt. 1

This week the Bklyn Combine sat down with black history. He goes by the name of Mr. Tyrone Larkins and he was an inmate at Attica prison in 1971. Attica is known for a prison riot where over a thousand men, took control of the prison and took hostages in their demand for better living conditions. Larkins has an incredible story to tell and this is the first installment of a 2-part series. We are the Brooklyn Combine, a non-profit community organization. We work with schools, community organizations, and dedicated city officials to help provide mentorship, critical education, leadership, and social support programs to youth and young adults in low-income and underserved communities.
