BROOKLYN NINE-NINE AIRS ON FOX AT 8:30ET -- We're talking about Boyle's latest doomed relationship and the viability of Boyle's romantic paradigms (spoiler alert: outlook's not good) all while Jake keeps yes-anding him, which makes Aarthi wonder if the Actual Ship of the show is Boyle and Jake, and their FRIENDship. Meanwhile, the C plot is roundly panned as being weaksauce and meaningless in the face of a potentially-heavy B-plot about the NYPD responding to last year's (and, frankly, ongoing) conversations around police brutality and abuse of power.
