We found an excerpt of a letter that King Leopold II of Belgium sent to missionaries as they prepared to go to Congo, and he basically told them to forget this gospel thing and use the teachings to promote the Belgium interest so that they could exploit the land for its resources, acquire the country and enslave the people without them putting up much resistance. Yeah, you read right. We are lucky to be joined by some friends with some knowledge and authority on the subject who help dissect it as much as we can.
