Deryck Richardson is a published author, speaker, and serial entrepreneur. His primary business is Richardson Marketing Group which is a marketing firm specifically designed to enhance the customer acquisition efforts of insurance agents. RMG is a proud recipient of several awards, including a three-time Best Place To Work Award winner in the Columbus, Ohio metro area and a back-to-back Fast 50 recipient, highlighting the 50 fastest-growing privately held companies. Having a vast knowledge of insurance-specific marketing, Deryck became a partner with Freedom Direct Life Insurance Services in 2016. Freedom Direct focuses on a wide spectrum of life insurance products including term, IUL's, whole life, and annuities. Deryck is also a partner with In The Black, LLP, and operates Blackbeans Brew, an online coffee distributor.
In his spare time, Deryck enjoys volunteering in his community as he sits on several boards and committees in spaces such as education, youth development, and government. Deryck is an avid golfer, and he and his wife Desiree have four children and are expecting their 3rd grandchild in August of 2023.
