Black families love and affirm their LGBTQ kids. This isn't a narrative we hear often. But those of us who know, know that love is Black family tradition. While some families are still on a journey to love and affirmation, we know that every Black family, with the right support, has the capacity to show up in the ways their LGBTQ kids need.
