In 2018, Luis Fernandez wrote "Disband, Disempower, and Disarm" about the Defund the Police movement and the first wave of the Black Lives Matter movement. It wasn't until a few months ago that the article gained a large audience and Luis started doing interviews on mainstream media sites.
