Welcome to the Moderate Voice of America. Our story today begins with Joe Biden’s cabinet. Over the last two weeks, Joe Biden, who has yet to be officially recognized as the president-elect by the electorate, has begun his picks for his cabinet.
There have been many picks announced, all of which either have been boring picks or very controversial between both sides of the political spectrum. In Congress, both sides of the political aisle--progressives and conservatives--are flipping over these picks. On the general side, progressives are upset that Joe Biden has not nominated a strong progessive cabinet, notwithstanding an actual individual nominee they are happy with. They are either not progressive enough or have a bad history with congressmen. They are either too much of a return to “normalcy” or not enough. Rejected by progressives for having conservative views, and rejected by conservatives for having libreal views.
We will talk about who these picks are, the more important ones at least? What are the arguments of both progressives and conservatives? And, of course, what do Americans think about the cabinet picks?
