In this fast-moving keynote at Estoril Conferences see I speak about why I believe that - despite the current woes of global warming, wars and inflation - the future is better than we think. As Kevin Kelly says 'we should be optimistic not because we have less challenges but because we have a lot more capacity to deal with them". Yet technology alone will not save us - we will need purpose and telos (wisdom). Algorithms know the logic of everything but the feeling of nothing. Too much of a good thing (technology) can be a very bad thing (#facebook aka Meta really makes the best example). In this talk, I also present my 3 tickets to the future: #digitization #decarbonization and reformation #theddr *more at https://www.theddr.world/ The Good Future is entirely feasible - we just have to make the right decisions, today. And what I call People Planet Purpose and Prosperity is where it all starts. Business as usual is dead or dying, and capitalism as we know it is unfit for the future. You can watch it here on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=of4LNyGG2Z8&t=41s - https://www.estorilconferences.org/
