In this episode, we present two of the interviews we recorded at Land Forces 2024.

The first interview is with Phil Guy, Executive Director, and David Devine, GM, at Mellori Solutions:

They give us an update on Mellori’s work over the last year and their views on the increased pace of innovation seen in the Ukraine and Middle East conflicts. We also discuss current electronic warfare technologies, their use of the whole of the electromagnetic spectrum, and the importance of training. The discussion also reviews the difficulty of defining minimal viable capability and how Defence is investing into electronic warfare. We wrap up with an overview of Mellori's upcoming involvement at the AOC convention in Canberra and also at the EWLive electronic warfare event being held in Estonia.

Our second interview is with Joonatan Oras, Co-Founder & CEO, and Siim Kangur, Head of Special Projects at Spacedrip, plus Jeromy Bendall, GM at Global Defence Solutions:

We discuss Spacedrip's water reuse systems that provide onsite grey water recycling solutions back to potable water and the quality of water they provide. Joonatan and Siim provide an overview of their technologies which use a membrane bioreactor and reverse osmosis, and how automation is being used to reduce energy demands and labour resources. We then look at the progress of implementation in Australian operations, and the scalability and sizes of their solutions. We finish with a discussion about Spacedrip's projects with foreign militaries and Estonia's growing relationship with Australia.
