Avenue Red Podcast presents Kindred Music SA (real name Mckai Du Toit), a Cape Town and Johannesburg based artist who grew up in South Africa. He is an artist who enjoys designing and creating interesting atmospheric and ambient melodies and grooves inspired by downtempo, techno and house music. He released his debut album "Exposed" in March of 2021 on his label Pocket Food Audio, and has since featured on platforms such as DeepStitched, Hello Strange, SPACE VIEW X, Slow Sessions and Apnea to name a few. Kindred Music SA started playing acoustic instruments at an early age, inspired by rock, soul, reggae and jazz from the era of the early 60s up to the late 90s. Later on he developed a passion for the endless possibilities electronic music had to offer, thusly evolving into an electronic music composer, producer, performer and DJ, with an enormous passion.
