No Fear for the Future – Series: Hope Admits Fear
Scripture Focus: Psalm 112
As we enter the holy season of Advent, we begin with a message of hope that acknowledges the fears and uncertainties that often fill our hearts. The theme, No Fear for the Future, invites us to confront these anxieties with the assurance found in Christ’s incarnation. In His coming, God steps into our world, bringing peace and a secure future, grounding us in the hope of His promises.
The reading from Psalm 112 reminds us of the steadfast trust and courage of the righteous, who live unshaken by fear because of their deep-rooted faith in the Lord. Together, we will reflect on how Christ’s birth and His return fill our lives with enduring hope, even in the midst of life’s uncertainties.
Through confession, prayer, the Word, and Holy Communion, we gather as God’s people to rejoice in the secure hope we have in Jesus. He is our peace, courage, and strength for today and every tomorrow.
Advent Reflection:
This Advent season, may we boldly admit our fears, confess our struggles, and rejoice in the unshakable hope of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
