Deception. Subtle lies. A twisting of truth to suit an individuals purpose. This is how sin entered the world. Satan, coming in cleverness, deceived the woman by slightly twisting and misrepresenting what God had said. But while she was deceived, it was the man who chose to rebel. Today, we are still dealing with this problem. Men and women, parents and children, and friends not able to get along because either they aren't being honest or someone outside the relationship is sowing lies.
