Jeremy is quick to point out that God is very precise in the language He uses in the Bible. But why is this? Politicians will often be vague, especially on the campaign trail, so that they can claim they've accomplished what they said regardless of what has happened. But God is not like this at all! He wants us to be absolutely positive of what He has done. Therefore how He describes Jesus as a substitute for us and what atonement is all about, in precise terms. Listen and be confident.
