Thessalonians - Introduction and Background
Manage episode 397662696 series 3512026
In this session, Jeremy sets the stage for the study of Thessalonians by looking at the historical background and context. The Apostle Paul visited Thessalonica on a missionary journey and taught the Jews and Gentiles who were willing to hear the good news. If your life personally is full or difficulty, or you are worried about the condition of your community, country or the world; then this epistle is designed for you as a message of comfort. As Jeremy points out, the outline of this book is found in chapter 1, verses 9 and 10: first our conversion, then a life of abiding in and serving Christ, and finally our gathering to Him.
