17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. - KJV
The Church today suffers from truth deficiency, which limits the move of the ‘Spirit and Word’ in the fellowship and accounts for the vulgar characters within its fold. Tasteless and unrefined characters endanger a sense of family, fulfilment, faithfulness, fruitfulness, and unity in the Church. The essence of the prayer of Jesus in John 17:21-23 (oneness) is troubled by a disregard for sanctified truth (John 17:17).
