With just 2 wins in their last 10 games, tied for worst in the NHL in that span, the New York Rangers are entering into very spooky territory. With their season in limbo, they made a huge move just 25 games into the season by trading their captain, along with his 8 million dollar cap hit. The move seemed to be foreshadowed this offseason, which begs the question why it wasn't done any sooner. Nevertheless, the one positive from this situation is that the team has rid themselves entirely from his lofty contract. Something tells me, based on they way the team has been playing, that Chris Drury is not yet satisfied.
