About Meghan’s Guest Lauren Kleiman, elected to the Newport Beach City Council in 2022, prioritizes public safety and preserving the city's quality of life. She serves as Vice Chair of the Newport Beach Aviation Committee and represents the city on the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) and the District 15 representative for the Orange County Council of Governments (OCCOG).
Her community service began on the Aviation Committee before her six-year tenure on the City’s Planning Commission. As a Founding Board Member of the Newport Beach Foundation, she initiated a Parent Education Series and supports their scholarship and Distinguished Citizen Program engaging the next generation of leadership
