To commemorate the birthday of Malcolm X this week (May 19th, 1925), we discuss his legacy and how much of what he said was prophetic and applies today. We talk about George Zimmerman auctioning off the gun used in the murder of Trayvon Martin and the significance of his actions. We discuss how and why police practices vary by community and break down the insidious nature of what has been deemed "The New Jim Crow."
