Continuing with our NEW series called "The Servant King," (A Study of the Gospel of Mark).... Question: On a scale of one to ten, how much of your trust do you place in God? Without thinking about it, we all have things in life that we tend to automatically put our trust in. For example, knowing that our car will start in the morning, that the seat belts in roller coasters will keep us locked in place throughout all of the sudden twists and turns during the ride, a chair holding us up, etc., but what about our trust in the Lord? Do we fully place our trust in Him for the next moves in life that He has laid out for us? Are we walking within the path that He has already carved out for us or are we trying to "carve our own path?" We are the clay and He is the Potter but do we trust the Lord to shape and mold us according to His beautiful ministry and plan? Just like a diamond isn't pretty and shiny when first plucked out of a mine, there are times when God has to sand off the rough edges that we have within our lives in order for us to be made beautiful in the way that God intended us to be. So, let me rephrase the original question...Where are you "investing" your trust? If you are interested in attending our LIVE teachings (Wednesdays @ 7:00 pm & Sundays @ 10:00 am), you are invited to visit us at 4218 Boston Ave. Lubbock, Texas. To connect with us, you can call us at (806) 799-2227, email us at calvarylubbock@hotmail.com, or checkout our website at CalvaryChapelLubbock.church.
