Ken Burns widely known documentary series include The CIvil War, Baseball, The National Parks, The Roosevelts, Country Music and more including the purpose of this particular interview to promote his program - The War. Nominated for two Academy Awards, one for The Brooklyn Bridge and the other for The Statue of Liberty, it's easy to understand why audiences and critics alike love his style of story telling using static photographs that his cameras pan and zoom in on with such precision and smoothness that the procedure has been named the Ken Burns Effect.
