Gary was kind enough to come over and hang out. I'm so glad he did. 27.5 years of service in a legacy family. He forgot to mention it (Nerves) but his son is now on the department, so that's 3 generations who have served the City of Tucson.
I'm anxious for you all to hear how Gary's career (Patrol, Bikes, Vice, SWAT, and K9) turned out. He served with honor, had a few tough times but left on his terms and has made a pretty good run of being semi-retired. He plays in a band called Southern Reins and runs a residential and commercial electrical company.
