The church was founded and established Feburary 18 1922 in Blue Diamond, KY and is a part of the Pentecostal movement, that started in 1906. The church is founded and established on the Apostolic doctrine of the The Bible. The church organization teaches Holiness is a lifestyle and not a church domination. The name of the church refers to the biblical text in 1 Tim 3:15. The word "militant" was added to indicate the fight against sin and their stand on The Bible as the Word of God being a infallible and God inspired.
