Are you thinking about painting a mural?! As we pack up to a Mural Fest in Saskatoon the Urban Canvas Street Party it's got us thinking about everything YOU need to know about the mural making process!

Just remember when it comes to murals and your creativity you are the one who is bringing: the creativity, the talent, the outside perspective, the unique charm, the life and heartbeat. They need you, not the other way around. You will treat them with respect and professionalism and they will treat you with the same regard. You will find clients that are your dream. They are out there, so many people, so many walls for you to express yourself on. Always go with your gut and remember your creativity is worthy and powerful!

I know, I know, I know, everything I am bringing up can cause the good ol’ overwhelm to set in. Remember the whole story of I had no friggin clue what I was doing and I went out and painted a 50ft mural, ya… If we can figure this out, you can too!

If this is something that you truly desire you will find a way. Think it, ask for it, say it out loud every day, and figure out a way to get there!
