North York, Toronto (CAN) with Cathy Nesbitt
Manage episode 396978185 series 3524736
Our friend Cathy Nesbitt takes us back to the street she grew up on in North York Ontario.
We compare travelling and commuting between then and now and also between Europe and North America and how much bigger our world has become since then.
"This is a great souvenir looking at this picture. I had a really good childhood, I think At the end of the road, is the public school I went to. And so I walked to public school. We'd go home for lunch. My grandparents lived in the basement. And so my grandmother would make us lunch. Yeah, it was beautiful. I was so kind of innocent, I think I didn't know what was happening in the world."
