Episode 18 - Blockchain, better governments, and healthier democracies
Manage episode 344893013 series 3407795
In this episode, we discuss a topic that can be, well, fear inducing for many in the web3 community: Blockchain and government! But don’t worry, we’re not talking about regulation here, or how governments are trying to shut crypto down. Instead we are going to focus on how blockchain and crypto can build better governments.
Discussions around blockchain and governments more often than not revolve around fears related to regulation, with the belief that government and cryptocurrency are simply incompatible. However, there are many tangible ways that cryptocurrency and blockchain can help individuals hold governments accountable, leading to healthier democracies.
