Groovy! @storkenmusic @cliquebookings The Swedish DJ and producer, Thomas Henriksson aka Storken, spent his childhood in the idyllic Scandinavian countryside surrounded by a family of musicians who were heavily influenced by the 80`s icons such as Phil Collins, Queen, and Tina Turner. This upbringing piqued his interest and led him to explore music further by learning to play the drums, guitars, piano, mixing on turntables, and studying philosophy. During his always evolving musical journey, Storken discovered the captivating world of electronic underground genres, and his love for it grew even deeper. Currently, he is fusing the deeper parts of Swedish prog with the electronic disco style, as heard in his debut release titled "Lille Vals", which premiered at a Boiler Room show in 2019 and later released on Gerd Janson’s label Running Back. The track was a huge success and reached 1.6M listens on Spotify. Storken`s unique style of music has garnered support from notable DJs such as Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Folamour, Fatboy Slim, The Blessed Madonna, Purple Disco Machine, Patrick Topping, Todd Terje, Andhim, and Krystal Klear. Storken followed up his success with "Lowrider", which features a remix from the Norwegian disco expert Prins Thomas. This single marked the second in a series of releases that culminated in his EP titled "Skogsdisco", released in 2021.
