El pagaré Historia del contenido literalizado, desde la narrativa de Willian Shakespeare El Mercader de Venecia, es una obra escrita por el ilustre dramaturgo, Shakespeare, en el siglo XVI, aproximadamente en 1596. En una aparte de dicha narrativa se hace alusión a un negocio jurídico de préstamo de dinero. Hoy por hoy, conocido como el contrato de mutuo. Por virtud de dicho negocio jurídico se hizo una promesa de pago, acto este último, que constituye una aproximación al título valor: el pagaré.
